It's the downtown location for some of Winnipeg's more exclusive restaurants, shopping, and live entertainment. You'll have the opportunity to leave the train and explore the town for a couple hours before continuing your journey west at noon.

This afternoon cross the Manitoba-Saskatchewan border. This signals the mid-point of your rail journey. The Canadian rolls into Jasper, located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, at 1:00 pm for a 1 hour stopover. Keep your camera nearby as the train comes to a short stop.
