Day 1 Vancouver to Jasper
Board VIA Rail’s ‘Canadian’ en route to the
alpine town of Jasper. Enjoy ‘Silver & Blue’
class and the classic dome car for panoramic
viewing of this diverse landscape.
Overnight onboard VIA Rail
Day 2 - Exploring Jasper
Wake up to see the highest peak in the Canadian
Rockies, Mt. Robson, as you travel into Jasper National
Park. Check into your hotel in Jasper and the rest of
the day is at your own pace.

Day 3 - Jasper
An early morning sightseeing excursion to Maligne
Lake scenic boat cruise takes you to the remarkable
Spirit Island.

Day 4 - Jasper to Lake Louise
Venture down the Icefields Parkway along the Continental
Divide following the mighty mountain rivers
of the Athabasca, Sunwapta, North Saskatchewan,
Mistaya and the Bow. A stop at the Athabasca Glacier
offers the opportunity to step out onto an ancient glacier
for a true Columbia Icefield Glacier Experience.

Day 5 - Lake Louise to Banff
Take the morning to stroll along the shore of Lake
Louise before joining a sightseeing excursion through
Yoho National Park. Beautiful Emerald Lake and
Takakkaw Falls are just two of the sights you’ll take in
before arriving in Banff.

Day 6 - Banff
A morning sightseeing excursion takes you to the
many scenic highlights of Banff, including a journey
by gondola to a mountain summit for a 360-degree
panorama of the six mountain ranges surrounding this
town.
This vacation is available in reverse, departing from Calgary.
